ABOUT PLAYSCHOOLERS

Playschoolers was created with God, children and family in mind. I want my families and their children to feel like this is their home away from home when they come here. Playschoolers is a licensed, state regulated Christian home childcare center. I am certified in early childhood development and I have been teaching Preschool/Pre-K since 2014. My structured, home based approach to teaching gives children a personal experience where more focus and love can be devoted to each child. My whole goal at Playschoolers is to get children in my care excited to learn and create a solid foundation spiritually and academically!
I believe it is very important to create a spiritual foundation for children at a young age. I give the children biblical values that will stay with them in the next stage of their lives. Children grow their faith in Christ with Bible stories, bible verses, worship songs, and activities. Here at Playschoolers I use Abeka, it’s a comprehensive, quality curriculum and materials program that is from Christian Distributors. While using this curriculum, I will also integrate play throughout our day. I believe play is just as important because children learn different skills that implement cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. Having this cross-subject integration helps the children at age appropriate levels along their educational journey here at Playschoolers!
